My Quota Bag Reveal!

The morning after I brought home my First Quota Bag, I took a moment to sit down with a fresh cup of Nespresso and replayed every moment. The moment things went from “out of stock” to the moment I was in the private room starring at one of the most gorgeous bags I have ever seen.

The day of my appointment, I felt like it would never happen. It seemed to be out of reach and not a reasonable expectation for me to be chosen to receive a bag with all the shortages in the supply chain. But I spent hours, days, and what eventually turned into years reading and researching. I wanted to learn about the different leathers, the different silhouettes, and the different colors. So I reminded myself that it was all a matter of time.

I went into my appointment with a hopeful heart, but something felt different this time around. I finally understood what it meant to have chemistry with your Associate. The conversation flowed and the laughs followed. I didn’t feel pressured to impress my Associate and it felt like I was having lunch with a friend. When he left for some time, and came back with the biggest grin on his face, I knew it was my turn. I tried to take mental pictures of every occurring event as I slowly took in the fact that I was about to receive my first offer!

My wishlist was a generalization of what I hoped for, so I had no idea what he had in store. He sat me down and told me he had something special that he was certain I would love. He proceeded to remove the plastic wrap and slowly opened the box. He brought the bag to the table with its dustcover on and he explained that it was a Kelly 28 with gold hardware.

At the point I knew that he brought me something that would make my jaw drop.

He undressed the dustcover and slowly brought the bag into vision. He continued to say that it was the highly requested Sellier in Epsom Leather and that the color was Nata. To my shock, it was in Gold Hardware.

The color was like a fresh breath of air, crisp and cold to the lungs. The stark contrast between the creamy leather and the bright gold hardware really drew me in and made it difficult to take my eyes off this beauty! I was in disbelief and continue to pinch myself. I finally made it! And I hope that if you are on a Hermes journey, you make it too!
